FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the MPM Club?
The MPM Club is a subscription based service that provides access to meal prep/dinner recipes, macro friendly snack and dessert recipes, as well as resources to further your knowledge in exercise science and nutrition. There are two membership levels, the Silver Membership and the Gold Membership. Silver members have access to a select amount of recipes and content. Gold members have access to all current recipes, future recipes and exercise/nutrition based content. The Silver membership is free of charge while the Gold membership is $7/month or $50/year.
What are The Meal Prep Manual digital cookbooks?
The Meal Prep Manual digital cookbooks were the original home for the recipes found on this website. The recipes in these three digital cookbooks are included in the MPM Club membership. However, if the membership based program isn’t for you each of the digital cookbooks can be purchased for a one time fee of $10 and you will have the PDF files as long as you keep them on your device!
Do the recipes include calorie and macronutrient counts?
Yes, every recipe has estimates for the calorie and macronutrient totals calculated using MyFitnessPal. Note that these values are estimates and exact values for your own meals may slightly vary depending on weights of meat and vegetables or different brands of ingredients. If you need precise values you should always weigh and calculate everything on your own. If you just need estimates for calories and macronutrient totals, the values on the recipes should be proximate.
Are these recipes good for weight loss/weight gain?
All of the meal prep recipes included in the MPM Club have versions to make them more weight loss or weight gain friendly. However, because calorie intakes for weight gain and weight loss will be different for everyone you ultimately need to determine what serving size you need to fit your needs.
Are you a professional chef?
No. I am not a professionally trained chef and I did not go to culinary school. I am just someone who enjoys cooking and have worked to prefect the art of meal prepping.
Do the recipes have metric measurements?
Yes. The recipes include both imperial and metric measurements as well as an adjuster for how many servings you need. As a note, I use metric measurements especially for the dessert recipes. If you want them to turn out as close to how I make them as possible, I recommend buying a food scale. They are cheap and available on Amazon.
Are there any vegan or vegetarian recipes?
No. There are a few recipes in the recipe index that are coincidentally vegan or vegetarian but I do not actively make recipes for vegans or vegetarians. I am a meat eater and the food I make is for me to eat.
