Can you use frozen potatoes only hash browns? Or are you supposed to shred your own potato? If so, do you cook them from frozen or defrost first?

You can use whatever you would like to. I use frozen when i make this. Anytime you can make something easy on yourself I recommend doing it!! You can cook them frozen, it will just take longer

I noticed that the ingredients list states 3 cups of hash browns but the recipe says 2.5 cups. Which is included in the nutrition profile?

Whoops, good catch. It is supposed to be 3 cups.
