I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would, and that was even with making the weight loss version!

Hello! What kind of cheese are you suggesting for the “shredded cheese” in the recipe?

    1. Josh Cortis

You can really use any kind of cheese you wish. I usually have colby jack in the fridge so thats what I go with

This is my first recipe I’ve done and I’m very impressed, can’t wait to try more and will be returning to this one soon too

First meal, and I am really impressed. Great flavor even with the weight loss version.

I`m really surprised at how full I feel after eating these, the mushrooms and carrots make each bite feel meaty and heavy. I live in a tiny studio apartment in the Japanese country side, so many of the ingredients you use in your recipes I cannot find. I finally bought chili powder in bulk from online lol!

I made the weight loss version with 97/3 ground turkey, got distracted and burned my pasta and this is still an enjoyable meal. Another great recipe.

This was so good! My bf is allergic to gluten and dairy so I used the protein chickpea pasta (20g protein per serving) and subbed the cheese with vegan cheese! Tasted sooo good and got a a lot of protein in

I made the weight loss version, and I’m shocked at just how filling this is! I used chickpea macaroni, oat milk and added a few bay leaves for good measure. This was fantastic and hit the spot. Great job with this one!

Made the fully leaded version except did 93/7 ground turkey (usually not a fan), and I can say, I don’t think I would even do this with ground beef.. The flavor was perfect. I did screw up and only had diced can tomatoes, so I mashed one can a bit, but think having crushed would give it even more of the homemade chili Mac feel. Just another stellar recipe, in my ever growing (eight so far) 4-5 star meal prep recipe rotation

I got 10 meals out of mine, so my wife and I are sharing. My favorite recipe so far. I can’t even taste the mushrooms or veggies. A+++
